The inverter is the heart of your solar system. Solar panels produce Direct Current (DC), but your home appliances use Alternating Current (AC). The inverter converts the DC from the roof into usable AC electricity for your home. DEYE Hybrid inverters go a step further: they can also manage batteries and even a generator, acting as a complete energy manager.

Solar panels only produce power when the sun shines. A battery stores that surplus energy so you can use it at night, maximizing your savings.

Pro Tip: With a DEYE battery, you can also protect yourself against power outages. You can also charge the batteries from the grid at night when electricity is cheap and use that power during the day when rates are high.

While DEYE systems are designed to be modular and relatively “plug & play,” working with high currents involves risks. Yes. Unlike standard grid-tied inverters that shut down when the grid fails, DEYE Hybrid inverters feature a dedicated “Load” port. This allows them to create their own grid (Off-Grid mode) using your batteries and solar panels, keeping your lights and fridge running even when the neighborhood is dark.

DEYE provides a free, intuitive mobile App (Solarman / Deye Cloud). It lets you see exactly how much energy you are producing, consuming, and storing in real-time. Generally, no hardware maintenance is required. For software, DEYE technicians can perform remote firmware updates and system checks upon request to ensure your system is always running on the latest logic. This never happens without your permission.
